Ben Bentley listens to the amazing tale of an inspirational schoolboy.

Sitting outside the school gates waiting for the kids to come out and wondering what to cook for tea, mum Marg Davies still has to pinch herself to make sure she is not dreaming.

“If anyone had told me two years ago that my son Timmy would be in mainstream school, I would never have thought it possible,” she says.

Timmy Brown, from Brockton near Much Wenlock, is eight years old and autistic.

Incredibly, until July 2010 he had never uttered a word in his life and had always been at special school.

Then, out of the blue, something remarkable and rather special happened.
